Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Applies to the TrackMyLifts iOS and Android beta apps.
TrackMyLifts (“we”, “us”) helps you plan and track workouts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. Your training data is yours.
The TrackMyLifts beta is currently available only to current and prospective beta users in the United States.
What we collect
- Account — your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Waitlist — if you ask for beta access before creating an account, we collect your email address, consent time, and the TrackMyLifts signup source.
- Workout data — the templates, workouts, sets, personal records, and preferences you create in the app.
- Operational data - limited technical data such as app version, device/OS, IP address, and request metadata needed to operate and protect the service.
- Beta feedback - information you choose to send through TestFlight, Android beta feedback, screenshots, or support emails. The app does not currently collect automatic crash/error telemetry. If a future diagnostics tool is enabled, we will update this policy and the store privacy labels.
How we use it
- To provide the app: store your workouts, sync across launches, and compute stats/PRs.
- To keep it working: diagnose support reports, service errors, and beta feedback.
- To communicate with you about your account or the beta, when needed.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
TrackMyLifts sends transactional email only, such as account confirmation, password reset, security, and support messages. If you explicitly join the pre-launch waitlist, we may also email you about beta access and the TrackMyLifts launch. Waitlist consent is separate from account email, and we do not share it with third-party advertisers or use it for unrelated promotions. We do not send third-party marketing email. If you receive a message you did not expect or want your waitlist entry deleted, contact support@trackmylifts.app.
Website cookies and privacy signals
This static website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking scripts. The website does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals because it does not track visitors or sell their personal information.
Sharing
We use trusted infrastructure providers (e.g. cloud hosting) to run the service. They process data on our behalf under their security obligations. We disclose data only when required by law.
Your choices
- Delete your account any time: Profile → Edit Profile → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, workouts, templates, custom exercises, body weight history, goals, personal records, badges, preferences, and exercise requests from active systems. See the account deletion instructions if you cannot sign in.
- Access, correct, or export your data during beta by using Profile → Edit Profile → Account → Request Data Export, or by emailing us.
Data retention & security
We keep your data while your account is active and delete account-associated app data from active systems when you delete your account. Deleted account data may remain in routine automated database backups for up to seven days before those backups expire. Legal or security retention obligations may require limited data to be held longer. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted.
We keep a waitlist email only while beta access and launch updates remain relevant, or until you ask us to delete it. We remove requested waitlist deletions from active systems promptly; deleted data may remain in routine automated database backups for up to seven days before those backups expire.
Children
TrackMyLifts is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
